Overview

We are seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Kubernetes-based systems in our on-premises data center, handling everything from bare metal hardware and networking to database administration and application deployment. You will address the unique challenges of operating a private cloud, including optimizing AI model operations, CI/CD pipelines, and integration with Enterprise Java and Python services. This role involves hands-on operation of production data center racks, ensuring flawless performance and scalability for our AI-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters using Helm diagrams for orchestration and configuration management.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, and related tools to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes.
  • Manage Postgres and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning, backups, scaling, and security configurations.
  • Manage physical hardware in our data center racks, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers and network components.
  • Implement, monitor, and manage enterprise Java and Python applications, ensuring compatibility with our AI models and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Advanced English level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration, specializing in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong command of Helm for Kubernetes application management.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Jenkins for developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience administering Postgres databases, including query optimization, replication, and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Java and Python programming for application support and scripting.
  • Excellent mastery of the Linux operating system.
