ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build and evolve scalable, cloud-native applications using React, TypeScript, and AWS serverless technologies, powering complex, high-impact systems. You’ll design event-driven workflows, develop APIs, and contribute to shared libraries while collaborating closely with architects and product teams. This role offers strong ownership, exposure to modern distributed systems, and the opportunity to leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain full-stack features across React micro-frontends and TypeScript-based backend services (AWS Lambda, Fastify, NestJS)
• Develop and evolve serverless APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
• Contribute to shared TypeScript libraries used across frontend and backend
• Integrate with .NET-based calculation services and support legacy ASP.NET components during migration
• Design and implement asynchronous and event-driven workflows (data imports, report generation, background processing)
• Write and maintain automated tests across all layers (unit, integration, E2E, and performance where applicable)
• Contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitLab
• Collaborate with architects and product teams on API design, data modeling, and system evolution
• Use AI coding assistants effectively (prompting, context management, and critical review of generated code) to accelerate development and improve quality

MUST HAVES

• TypeScript / Node.js: 5+ years of experience building APIs and backend logic
• 4+ years of experience with React (modern patterns, hooks, state management)
• C# / .NET: 2+ years of working knowledge (ability to read, debug, and integrate with existing services)
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway (serverless architecture)
• 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using frameworks like Fastify, NestJS, or similar
• 4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (queries, schema design, migrations)
• 3+ years of experience with event-driven architectures
• 4+ years of experience with unit and integration testing
• 3+ years of experience working in distributed systems
• 1+ year of experience with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar
• Upper-intermediate English level

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with microfrontend architecture (e.g., single-spa)
• Familiarity with the broader AWS ecosystem (S3, DynamoDB, SNS, etc.)
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Docker / local development environments (Docker Compose, LocalStack, SAM)
• Advanced testing (Playwright, K6, mutation testing)
• Experience with observability / monitoring tools
