ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior AI Data Engineer (Python) to build and scale the data and AI infrastructure powering next-generation energy intelligence. In this role, you’ll design resilient data pipelines, APIs, and cloud architectures while enabling LLM workflows and automation across the platform. Working closely with technical leadership in a fast-moving startup environment, you’ll shape how data transforms into real-world impact and scalable AI-driven solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build high-reliability data pipelines and APIs to connect to utilities and public energy sources;
• Architect databases and ingestion systems for time-series energy data, billing, and telemetry;
• Design GCP infrastructure such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Secret Manager for scale and cost efficiency;
• Build infrastructure that enables coding agents and AI tools to automate workflows across the stack;
• Set up CI/CD, observability, and automation to maintain fast and reliable delivery;
• Document, communicate, and collaborate across technical and business teams to translate work into impact metrics.

MUST HAVES

• 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer </b>;
• Experience building production data systems using Python , TypeScript , GCP , and SQL/NoSQL </b>;
• Upper-intermediate English level.
