Role: Backend Developer (Kotlin + Spring Boot) Location: Argentina / Brazil (Remote) Employment Type: Long-Term ContractAbout the Role We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs powering our solution. You will collaborate closely with the front-end team and other stakeholders to deliver robust and secure back-end services.Key Responsibilities Design and develop APIs using Kotlin + Spring Boot Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of services Integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize services Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver solutions incrementallyMust-Have Skills Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot (4–5 years) Strong understanding of REST API design principles Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases Proficiency with unit testing and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)Nice-to-Have Skills Experience deploying APIs on Azure Web Apps and Kubernetes Knowledge of OAuth2 / JWT authentication Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
