About the role

As a Tech Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will shape the technical direction of a consumer-facing platform, ensuring it scales reliably as the product and community grow. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, influencing architecture, quality, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own critical systems, mentor a growing team, and modernize a complex codebase. It’s a high-impact opportunity in a fast-paced, product-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and code robust, scalable features across frontend and backend;
• Work deeply in an existing web application codebase, enhancing core modules and integrating with a graph database;
• Implement state management with Redux and design performant React components;
• Manage a small but growing team of developers;
• Divide tasks and assign them to individuals;
• Review code;
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams by communicating progress and blockers early and often;
• Maintain high standards for documentation, testing, and code reviews;
• Architect solutions that handle high throughput while maintaining low latency;
• Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability.

MUST HAVES

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience </b>;
• 3+ years of team lead or management experience </b>;
• Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives;
• Experience with graph databases (Neptune with Gremlin preferred) </b>;
• Experience with web and mobile application technologies including HTML/CSS, React, React Native, TypeScript, Tailwind, Redux, Node.js, and Next.js </b>;
• Experience using Git </b>;
• Proven ability to navigate and improve large, production-scale codebases </b>;
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in a fast-moving team environment;
• Strong track record of delivering solutions with high throughput and low latency requirements </b>;
• Upper-intermediate English level .
