Java Engineer (Senior) ID29059 – Salvador

This is a remote position and we are hiring candidates from the whole country.

What you will do

1. Expand and maintain backend code for distributed event processing systems using Java and Spring Boot;
2. Build and optimize data pipelines involving Kafka and ensure seamless integration with other platforms;
3. Develop and optimize scalable RESTful APIs and build GraphQL APIs from scratch;
4. Manage and enhance database interactions for both SQL and NoSQL systems;
5. Leverage AWS services, including SQS, to support the scalability and reliability of backend systems;
6. Contribute to the Operational Lineage system and MDP Data Lineage collaboration to meet delivery goals.

Must haves

1. 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot;
2. Experience working with Kafka as a data source, including building interfaces with other platforms;
3. General knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases;
4. Proven experience in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs with high scalability and performance;
5. Hands-on experience building GraphQL APIs from scratch;
6. Familiarity with AWS services, including SQS;
7. Proven track record of contributing to 2-3 projects using this tech stack.

Nice to haves

1. Experience with PostgreSQL.
