What you will do

1. Be an essential technical contributor at an early-stage company as it scales.
2. Architect, implement, and own core components of the technology that define and power our product.
3. Collaborate with the founding team to understand business needs and play a leadership role in the end-to-end development of features and on our technical roadmap.
4. Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, architecture, and scalability of our systems and products.

Must haves

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software and products.
3. Proficiency in Typescript.
4. Experience with Node.js, React, Postgres, NextJS, and RPC in a professional setting.
5. Highly aligned with our mission and excited to make a direct, positive impact on clinicians and the quality of care patients receive.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Demonstrated high ownership and experience leading the development of products from the ground up in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
8. Comfortable navigating and building throughout the entire stack, with a primary focus on frontend technical design and implementation.
9. Experience executing greenfield technical design for business-critical products and features in close collaboration with both technical and non-technical counterparts.
10. Experience with agile development, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to haves

1. Demonstrated experience building in the healthcare space and working with PHI.
2. Understanding of modern AI technologies, like natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMS), RAG architectures, and their applications.
3. Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
4. Experience architecting systems that can handle the ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval of document-heavy data sets.
5. Passion for learning, staying up-to-date with new technologies, and sharing knowledge with the team.
