Responsibilities and duties:

1. Organize the load and prepare for movement by interpreting packaging symbols, storing according to the picking organization, and identifying load characteristics for transport and storage, including separating non-conforming loads.
2. Operate the forklift within the distribution center (DC), observing safety norms to transport collected loads, unload materials, or move products within the area.
3. Respect safety limits during equipment movement within the DC.
4. Check available space to allocate products according to the addressing system.
5. Maintain the forklift in good condition by lubricating moving parts, topping off oil and water levels, charging the battery, and requesting maintenance or refueling when necessary.
6. Work in compliance with safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards, ensuring personal and others' safety during product handling.
7. Assist in organizing the physical space within the DC.
8. Perform a forklift checklist at the end of each shift.
9. Leave the equipment ready and charged for the next operator.

Requirements and qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience as an operator.
• Complete high school education.
• Possess a Category B National Driver's License.
• Complete Forklift Operator training.
• Knowledge of load types and storage methods.
