Pessoa Motorista Carreteiro ( Manobra) – Feira de Santana – FedEx Group

Requisito:

Drives a vehicle with daily contact with a limited number of customers or internal parties, completing related administration or paperwork.

General job description:

Execute pickup, deliveries, and package verification processes, including invoices.
Drive trucks on varied routes, including interstate and overnight trips, following pre-established itineraries.
Provide necessary documentation related to collection, delivery, transfer of packages, delivery records, vehicle conditions, and duties/taxes invoices, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Ensure personal and general safety at all times by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with standards and corporate policies to ensure cargo integrity.
Maintain personal appearance, as well as the appearance of uniforms and vehicles.
Work on different routes, covering for team members on vacation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Elementary School diploma.
Valid license to operate a heavyweight vehicle.
Driver's License Type E with a maximum of 5 points (fines).
Valid Dangerous Goods Specialist certificate (MOPP - Movimentação Operacional de Produtos Perigosos).

Experience:

At least six (6) months of experience as a truck driver.
Previous FedEx driving experience is strongly preferred.

Skills:

Flexible timing.
Knowledge of tracking systems (e.g., Autotrac or similar).
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety standards.
No preventable traffic accidents in the last twelve (12) months.
Ability to interpret maps and knowledge of interstate routes.
Availability to travel interstate routes.
Ability to operate mechanized loading and GSE.
Ability to lift and maneuver packages over 75 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
Customer contact and package handling experience preferred.
Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
Neat appearance, as customer contact is involved.
