About The Job
Pyyne is expanding our engineering partnership with one of the US's largest Private Equity firms. We seek a team of Senior Data & Analytics Engineers to build and maintain critical data infrastructure supporting analysis, decision-making, and portfolio performance.
This role is highly collaborative with a strong analytical component. The ideal candidate has experience with the Microsoft Data stack and a keen eye for data accuracy and inconsistency detection.
This position offers exposure to non-technical stakeholders seeking clear answers about business-critical data.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years in data engineering with a solid software development background
- 3+ years experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen 2, Databricks, and SQL Server
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark
- Experience with ETL orchestration tools (Databricks Workflows, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.)
- Expertise in REST APIs, web services, and data quality validation
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to data accuracy
Soft Skills
- Effective communication in English, with ability to explain technical choices clearly and diplomatically resolve disagreements
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, working with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data models
- Results-oriented mindset, invested in data quality and supporting critical decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of Data and Software experience
