ML Platform in Agoda
Agoda's ML and AI Platform is built on self-managed Kubernetes and powered by Kubeflow, an open-source solution that enables efficient machine learning workflows.
Our AI Ops team combines best practices of software engineering with data science to help Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists work more effectively, incorporating data/model versioning, collaboration, monitoring, etc., in an intuitive way.
In This Role, You’ll Get to:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of on-premises MLOps solutions supporting machine learning models.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build scalable data pipelines and model training/deployment systems.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and management tools to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their ML needs and develop solutions accordingly.
- Stay updated with latest trends in MLOps, LLMOps, ML, and AI, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Mentor junior team members to grow their skills in MLOps.
- Troubleshoot and debug user issues.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 5+ years of experience in MLOps, Software engineering, Data engineering, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, Scala, Kotlin.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Value code simplicity and performance.
It’s Great if you have:
- Understanding of ML project lifecycle.
- Experience with MLOps platforms like Kubeflow or MLFlow.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, LGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Experience with Big Data tools like Spark, S3, Hadoop.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience building and scaling model serving tools with APIs and SLAs.
- Passion for ML engineering and scaling.
- Experience designing MLOps infrastructure including data pipelines, deployment, and monitoring systems.
